Hyderabd, Aug 18 Welfare Party of India, Andhra Pradesh today felicitated the newly elected members of Panchayath in Hyderabad. The felicitation program held at Modern Function hall, Lakdikapul. Candidates who contested in the local body elections from various districts of the sate were present. Welfare Party contested its first elections in the state and registered its voice by winning 26 ward members, three surpanchs and one vice surpanch. Welfare Party wants to bring value based politics and welfare to the all sections of the society.
With these slogans Party worked in local body elections, the results are encouraging and it will motivate the leadership and the cadre to work in the coming general elections asserted MM Khan, State President, Welfare Party AP.
Welfare Party AP organised its first state conference in May at Nizam college grounds and started its work in all the districts of AP. Welfare Party established as a National party in 2011 is functioning in almost 11 states today. Andhra Pradesh is a key state for Welfare Party in the south India, to meet the expectations of the founders, Welfare Party AP shown its strength in its first contested elections.
In the Telengana region Welfare Party has dedicated cadre and sympathisers. It has attracted youth in this region for its Values and Principles, with the slogans to eliminate corruption and hegemony in the Politics. According to the party sources it will contest the general elections on its own strength to replace the current representatives for their anti people policies and the mounting corruption. Rejecting the “Gujarath” type model and as well as the corrupted model of Congress it aims to grow as an alternative to the existing political parties in the state, as it believes in inclusive growth of all the sections of the society.
At a time when the bifurcation of the state is on the cards, Welfare Party will be a key player in the Telengana region as it has strong minority vote bank. With mixed leaders from different communities its working hard to reach out to the other communities to check the other parties in the region.
