Qatar, July 7 Famous Muslim cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi on July 6th,Saturday issued a spiritual decree, or fatwa, urging Egyptians to support overthrown President Mohamed Morsi by the military on Wednesday.
“Their each action is invalid, as a constitutional standpoint, the democratically elected president, no doubt, no doubt, must continue to be assessed throughout the duration of his four-year, as long as able to work” Said Qardawi.The Qatar-based however Egypt-born cleric put the ruling on his website.
He urged “all parties and political teams in Egypt to support correctness and reinstate President Morsi to his legitimate post”.
“Sharia (Islamic law) imposes on all believers allegiance to the electoral president, to hold out his orders and adjust to his directives.”
Morsi “must stay president, and no-one will claim the correct to get rid of him within the name of the people”, Qaradawi superimposed.
Men and women young and old, and rich and poor, and the staff and workers, and Muslims and Christians, liberals and Islamists, to stand all in a row, to preserve the gains of the revolution.
