Hyderabad, May 26: Welfare Party of India (WPI) had a formal launching of it’s AP State Chapter on 26th May 2013 at Nizam College Grounds, Hyderabad.
Welfare Party of India has come up with the core idea of value based politics. The establishment of WPI aims at value based politics across the nation that will bring accountability and transparency in the system. Mujtaba Farooq, WPI National President, said the launch of WPI shall mark a new era of accountable and corruption free politics in India. In the age of morally degraded and directionless politics, WPI shall strive for the cleansing of existing corrupted political system and will march ahead towards a welfare state. WPI strongly condemns the nepotism, chauvinism, corruption, selfishness in the politics. Lalitha Naik, National Vice President, said that WPI will struggle day and night for uprooting the economic disparities, rights violation, bribery, biasness and communalism from the society. Moral degradation is a social crime, she further said, politicians with criminal backgrounds should be shown exit door from the politics, and for this the political parties as well as public should join hands together.
MM Khan, State President of WPI AP, said that politics has become a giant trade of millions of rupees and this is very dangerous for our state. In last two decades, India, though after having progressed economically, the underprivileged communities like SCs, STs and minorities have been still deprived off their rights. Poor is becoming poorer and rich names are making their names in the Forbes list. Unemployment, poverty and untouchability are still prevailing in rural and urban areas. The food grains are being rotten in the godowns and poor is dying of hunger. Malnutrition is endangering the upcoming talent of our nation and is very shameful that governments have failed to address this issue. Power crisis and rising inflammation are making the life of common man worse. Farmer’s life is in danger due to anti farmer policies of government and they are left with no options but to commit suicide. Privatization of education and health is making these two basic amenities far away from a common man. Welfare state is the target of WPI’s politics and the value based politics is in the manifesto of party.
Sadiq Ahmed, State Gen Sec, WPI AP, condemned social injustice and growing attacks on women and governments have failed to control them. The leaders meant for saving the life and property of a common man are involved in the scams of crores of rupees. Corruption free politics is the agenda of WPI. For this, WPI will make ethically and morally sound people as leaders. Development of backward classes, dalits, minorities and other underprivileged classes are the target of WPI.
Among the other invitees was Mr. Jay Prakash Narayan, who welcomed WPI into AP politics on behalf of Lok Satta Party, Mrs. Khaleda Parveen said only WPI can give leaders like Hazrat Umar Farooq as dreamt by Gandhiji. Sheema Mohsin, Prakash Ambedkar, Gaddar, Zafarul Islam Khan, Abdul Wahab Khilji, and Others were among the dignitaries.
